We're very excited to be having a boy! I'll admit that I feel, a bit, like we're jumping into the unknown seeing as how I know what to expect with girl parts, but I know that we'll be just fine and we'll figure out our sweet boy's ins and outs as they come. I've always wanted a boy, but I think once we had Bean I just assumed we'd be a house of daughters. That's what I get for assuming, right?

This kind of reminds me of when we started having kids. I didn't have a real feeling on gender, but once we found out Natalie was a girl, I just pictured her with blond hair and blue eyes. Then she was born with brown hair and brown eyes. Which was GREAT. But then when we found out we were having another girl, I kept picturing Erica with brown hair and brown eyes. And sure enough she was born with blond hair and blue eyes! (it's gotten darker as she's gotten older) So much for assumptions - agreed!
